Car Buying

Thanks for the great and candid comments. I would add that I understand when you feel like you are getting the raw end of the deal. I feel like that when I go to the doctor also. It really boils down to trust. You have to find a salesperson and/or dealership that you can trust. Understand also that car dealers are not in business to lose money, so they have to make a profit. I think that most customers know this, they just want to make sure that they are paying a fair price and are not being taken advantage of. I think the car buying process takes so long because there is a lot of paper work involved and it is not getting any less. It seems like the gov't. keeps coming up with a different form every month. The paper work has become comprable to buying a house.

I've heard both good and bad things about buying from J.C. Lewis. I do admire the persistence of the sales reps., but sometimes as a consumer I don't want to feel pressured.
