  1. CAR BUYING _ _ _ _ _! YOU NEVER FEEL LIKE THE CAR SALES PERSON IS ON THE UP & UP. YOU ALWAYS FEEL YOU ARE GETTING THE RAW END OF THE DEAL. I JUST WANT TO FEEL LIKE I AM GETTING A GOOD DEAL & NOT BEING PUSHED AROUND. WHY DOES CAR BUYING TAKE HOURS? I LIKE NO HAGGLE, NO HASSLE. TELL ME THE BEST PRICE UP FRONT. IF I LIKE IT, WE CAN FINALIZE THE DEAL. I DON'T WANT THE BACK & FORTH BIT. THAT IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME & YOURS FOR THAT MATTER. WHEN I PURCHASE MY NEXT VEHICLE, IT WILL BE ON MY TERMS OR NO DEAL. I HAVING THE BUYING POWER NOW & I KNOW THERE IS A CAR DEALERSHIP THAT WILL ACCEPT MY TERMS & CONDITIONS. NEVER AGAIN WILL I FEEL I GOT THE RAW DEAL. THANK YOU

  2. I've purchased two cars and have looked at a 3rd, which was at your Ford dealership.

    First car took some haggling, young out of school and no credit. Second went super easy.

    I went in looking at the new '05 Ford Mustang, pondering it to be my 3rd choice for upcoming new purchase. Snagged a gentleman by the name of Ed, who was pleasant and polite. We chatted about the purcahse, why I was interested and discussed what I felt was reasonable for the purchase.

    He didn't try to tell me what I wanted to hear, didn't make any false promises and was straight up with me for any information I asked for. I appreciated his time and assistance in looking at the purcahse.

    And if I do go for my 3rd car and the choice relied solely on the sales experience, I would return and look for Ed and happily be on my way.

  3. My two biggest issues with the sales process is:

    1. I do not care for it when the salesman has to fill dead air with chatter. I have a lot to think about and consider. Also, it maybe impressive to hear the run down of every part and feature of the vehicle at warp speed, but it is like trying to drink from a fire hose.

    2. And the one thing I HATE more than anything else is when the salesman has to take me over to the sales manager and tell him where the deal stands. I feel like a child informing my teacher on the progress of my finger painting project. A grown man buying a car and a grown man selling a car together informing the sales manager of their status is adolescent at best.

    Thanks for the comments! I agree that it is torture to sit down and listen to a lengthy description about a vehicle, but you must admit that vehicles are pretty complex. Legally they have to explain all of that information.

    It would be great if a sales manager didn't have to get involved in a deal, but for some reason most customers will not agree to the first price!
